This is a monotype by Richmond artist Cindy Neuschwander. The wallpaper was created by trompe l'oeil artist Richard Lowell Neas for Brunschwig & Fils. The wallpaper, created in the 80's is iconic. I love the way the modern piece looks on this wallpaper. Both elements hold their own with each other while making the other look even better in the process.

A dear friend 12 years ago suggested I plant these New Dawn Roses. This morning I'm glad I did!

Here are my children in my favorite picture of them together. I'll post more about them in the future - they are wonderfully grown up now and they are truly my life.

Welcome to the launch of my newly designed website. This has been a labor of love many months in the making. I'm particularly excited about the blogging aspect of my website and I'm anxious to try it out. I hope you will check back often to see posts of new work as well as other things that are of interest to me at the moment. I promise only to bring you really stimulating stuff - if I don't have anything great to say I'll stay quiet!
My first photo is of my dogs Winnie (9ish) and Sabrina (13). They are the standard by which I judge true beauty! More to come........I promise!
